On the solid concrete ground floors of Esher's 1930s detached properties, laminate installs efficiently with a foam underlay. On Esher's modern extension screed, laminate only goes down where there is no underfloor heating — over UFH we recommend LVT or engineered wood, which stay stable under heat cycling.
